If You Can't Run, Walk, and If You Can't Walk, Then Crawl
We all have dreams and aspirations, don't we? It's those dreams that are a part of what makes life so interesting and wonderful. Whatever those dreams are, whether you want to be a huge muscle freak, if you want to lose excess pounds, or if you just want to feel good with your body, know that it is possible. There may be many setbacks and obstacles that you may have to face, but if you have a passion burning inside you to do something, know that your goal can and will be achieved, for all things are possible through Christ Jesus.
I'm going to tell you something, and this is the truth, so listen carefully. The only thing stopping you, is you. The thing you have to remember is that we are all wonderfully made by our Creator. In fact, we're made in His image. And being the amazing creation you are, you have an untold potential in you just waiting to get tapped. Get out of your own way with your negative thinking and doubt, and allow yourself to be who you were meant to be. And don't worry if you don't see a huge change right away, because sometimes, things take time. Take your journey one step at a time, little by little, and be grateful for your blessings. Remember, if you can't run, then walk, and if you can't walk, then crawl. Whatever you do, just keep moving, because as long as you are moving, you will reach your dream.

David Henry's Champion Body, and How He Rocked The Olympia and Sheru Classic
Nobody quite strikes my aesthetic eye quite like David Henry. His is a body that puts you in such a state of awe that it transcends the element of sport itself. I have always been a fan of David's, but at the recent Mr. Olympia and Sheru Classic tournaments, Henry only cemented for me why he is so excellent.

Resistance Is Not Futile
Let me ask you something: When you're in the gym, just how exactly are you lifting your weights? If you're the type of person that likes to go through your reps by lifting the dumbbell, but then letting the thing fall on its own, and then lift again, you could be missing out on some serious muscle gains. Studies show that it's better to keep a continuous state of resistance throughout your entire movement. For example, when you do a bicep curl, like the guy in the pic above is doing, explode coming up, but then slowly let the weight come back down again, before exploding back up. By letting the weight down slowly, instead of letting it drop, your working your muscles on the way up AND on the way down, thus maximizing your workout. The same is true with just about any other kind of workout, like leg presses, tricep pulldowns, chest presses, etc. The key is to push out, but then let your weight come back in slowly, so that you're resisting throughout your entire movement. Do this and see how much more muscle gains you'll get.

Phil Heath Does It Again
Can you imagine the clouds that Phil is swimming in right now, or the delirium from his excitement!? The Mr. Olympia is the biggest prize in all of bodybuilding; it's like the super bowl and the Olympics for muscle athletes. And to have captured this prize not once, but two times, and in a row, is outstanding. So You Want Muscle? Well Then You Gotta Eat!
Contrary to popular belief, bodybuilding is more than just about throwing weights around in a gym all day. You also have to make sure that your getting the right kind of food in your system so that your fueling your muscles with the materials they need to grow. Lifting weights is only 50% of the equation, while the other 50% is making sure you eat, but eat properly.
The main thing you want to get in your system is protein, because protein is the building block of muscle gains. The more protein you get in you, the better (in fact, they say that if you're a serious bodybuilder, you should aim to eat so that you get in at least one gram of protein per pound of body weight, daily). Foods that are usually protein packed are lean and grilled chicken, lean beef, turkey, potatoes, milk, and good old protein supplements.
And along with the protein, don't forget too that you need complex carbs (whole wheat bread, rice, pasta), and healthy fats, (beens, oils, etc.).
Now that you got the basics, get out there and start eating!

In Pure Awe - Pavol Jablonicky
As I have found out, Pavol Jablonicky has been in the muscle game for quite some time now, but with me just discovering him for myself not too long ago, I can tell you that my world has been flipped upside down and inside out. When I first laid eyes on this Czech bodybuilder, I nearly died!! Never before have I seen such a level and quality of muscular perfection as I've seen in Pavol. I don't understand how I didn't know about this guy sooner than this, because with a body like that, you are instantly LEGENDARY!!

Make It Count
Seriously, you have absolutely nothing to lose, so you may as well do this one thing for yourself and take the next step to a whole new you. It's not about a pill, it's not about a fancy weight-loss gimmick, it's not about bullsh#t. It's about you getting up and moving, doing, believing, and achieving! It's so easy to make excuses and say that you don't have the time, or this or that, but at some point, you have to make up your mind and decide what you really want. The tools to your success are right in front of you, you just have to realize the potential and put it to use.

Rasheed Oldacre Is Bringing Serious Beef
Recently at the Junior Nationals Bodybuilding Championships, an athlete emerged that really peeked my interest. He is Rasheed Oldacre, and his is a body that is truly impressive. Call me crazy, but something about him reminds me of an early version of Johnnie Jackson. Anyways, he ended up taking second place in the Super Heavyweight division behind Rudy Richards, but Rasheed still stood out to me more somehow. When Sami told his federation that he wanted to compete at the New York Pro Championships, they looked at him like he just lost his mind. They felt that he should start small and work his way up the ranks, but Sami wanted to see where he stood with the best, and to give it his all. Now, because of his efforts, he now holds second place! Not bad for someone whom others thought wasn't even ready for this huge competition! Congrats Sami!

Make Fitness A Lifestyle, Not A Chore
Almost everybody I see wants to get in shape and work out, but what I also see is that a lot of people go about it in the wrong way. It seems like people want to go from zero to a hundred miles an hour in a split second, not realizing that the key is to pace yourself and ease your way into a more healthy way of life. If you've never worked out before, or hardly ever, I wouldn't recommend you jump head over heels instantly into a severe and rigorous regiment and just brutalize yourself in the gym to try and get in shape. Your more than likely to give up, or you won't be consistent, because this is too hard. Instead, what I would suggest to people is to start off small, and then gradually work your way up in your fitness levels.

The Wonderful and Amazing Lionel Brown
It's almost hard to put into words how much I adore the beef truck that is Lionel Brown. He's just a phenomenal athlete with a body and presence that never fails to mesmerize. What also tickles my fancy about Lionel is his complex personality. A lot of people say that he doesn't smile a a lot, which may be true, but when he does smile he absolutely lights up the room. My instincts tell me that he's a really sweet soul underneath the seemingly hard exterior.

For me, probably the most impressive and appealing body part on a man is his abs. A well defined and ripped stomach is usually what people see and notice first, above all other body areas. Abs are also one of the most important areas of the body, because it is your core. If your abs are in shape, then it gives you so much strength and balance to do so many different things.

Bodybuilders In Their Offseason
For those who may not know, a bodybuilders' offseason, or mass-building stage, is basically a time when the competition season is over, and the bodybuilder is trying to put on more size and beef to his physique in order to prepare for next season. A lot of bodybuilders, however, also tend to put on a lot of fat during this time peculiarly, and as a result, when they do guest appearances and performances, they can come out with surprising appearances. Despite this trend, and as crazy as it may sound, to me some guys actually look sexy in their offseason phase. Let's take a look at some and tell me what you think.
